The genealogy specialists Gloucestershire Roots have kindly sent us a photo and details of a plaque in the memory of Charles Francis Le Champion Moller.

The plaque, in the parish church of St Bartholomew, Barbon, Cumbria, reads:

In affectionate rememberance of Charles Francis Le Champion Moller who died from the effects of a fall from his horse near Charlottesville Virginia US the 24th Sept 1883. This memorial is placed here by his guardian the Rev James Harrison and other friends.  “Jesu Lover Of My Soul”
